In addition to our commitment to providing exceptional education, the Department of Botany is also engaged in cutting-edge research in basic and applied botany. Department of botany have state of an art “Plant Tissue Culture & Molecular Biology Lab” in which regular work on in-vitro studies of medicinal plant has been done. Our department also conduct University Approved Certificate Course work in “Plant Tissue Culture Techniques”, under which each year students are trained in all the theoretical and practical aspect of advance techniques.

We are also committed to biodiversity conservation, with ongoing research projects focused on the conservation and management of endangered plant species and their ecosystems.
